The Pro-Wedge-It provides a unique forefoot/rearfoot plate system which enables our therapists to evaluate patients in a full weight bearing functional position. This plate system allows us to dynamically change forefoot and rearfoot angles independently while obtaining measured values. Immediately we are able to see how these changes in the foot effect load transfer through the pelvis and integrated motions of the lower kinetic chain. Afferent deficits ' and postural malalignments are easily exposed and can be retrained as foot position changes during functional testing and rehabilitation. The patient feels immediate feedback and better understands the impact of foot posture changes.
